Summary

We are seeking a Used Car Manager to join our team at our Palatine Chevy location. In this role, you will oversee the used car inventory, drive sales strategies, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Your leadership will play a vital role in maintaining our commitment to mutual success.

Responsibilities

Organizing and displaying used cars on used car lot
Acquisitions of used cars on simulcast auctions
Appraising cars
Reconditioning of used cars
Desking deals with salespeople
Floor management, making deals with salespeople.
Managing inventory, turning cars over under 2 months.
Wholesale cars at auction when needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in automotive sales management, particularly in used cars.
Strong understanding of inventory control and retail sales processes.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions based on market trends.
Leadership experience with a track record of developing team members.
Basic math skills for pricing and inventory management.
Tekion DMS experience a plus.
