Position Overview: The Sales Manager (SM) will oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales department, help manage the sales team, and implement strategies to drive sales performance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in automotive sales, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Job Responsibilities
· Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed sales targets.
· Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive new car sales.
· Monitor inventory and pricing strategies to ensure competitive positioning in the market.
· Oversee the daily operations of the sales department, ensuring smooth workflow and high customer satisfaction.
· Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and manufacturers.
· Set and achieve monthly and yearly sales goals and KPIs.
· Conduct regular sales meetings to review performance, set expectations, and provide training.
· Ensure the sales team is fully trained on product knowledge, promotions, and sales techniques.
· Manage the department’s budget, ensuring profitability and cost-effective operations.
· Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
· Work closely with the finance and service departments to streamline operations and enhance customer experience.
Pay Range. Bonus? Commission? Draw? Etc.
$150,000 – $200,000 including all pay components.

Required Experience
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
· Prior highline sales leadership experience
· Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a successful sales team.
· Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
· In-depth knowledge of automotive sales processes, financing options, and product offerings.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to develop strategies.
· Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
