Position Overview
The BDC Sales Representative is responsible for managing inbound and outbound customer communications, setting and confirming appointments, and supporting the sales team by ensuring a seamless customer experience.
You will report directly to the BDC Manager and play a critical role in driving showroom traffic and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to internet leads, phone inquiries, and website submissions
- Follow up with prospective customers via phone, email, and text
- Schedule and confirm sales appointments for new and existing customers
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in the CRM
- Coordinate customer inquiries with appropriate sales or service personnel
- Maintain an effective follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business
- Assist with administrative tasks and documentation as needed
- Stay current on Hyundai product updates, features, inventory, and promotions
- Meet and exceed appointment and performance goals
- Attend required meetings and training sessions
- Follow all dealership policies and procedures
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Automotive BDC experience preferred
- 3–6 months of phone-based customer service experience required
- Strong phone communication, typing, and writing skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Team-oriented with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
