Job Responsibilities – Automotive Store Manager
As a Store Manager (Automotive Service Manager) you will:
- Oversee daily operations of a high-volume automotive repair facility.
- Manage shop workflow, processes, and performance to drive efficiency and profitability.
- Act as both Store Manager and Service Writer, writing repair orders, interacting with customers, and recommending services with a customer-first mindset.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team consisting of a Shop Foreman, ASE-certified auto technicians, service advisor, general service technicians and shop staff.
- Ensure the shop delivers high-quality car repair, truck repair, and fleet services with integrity and accuracy.
- Track key metrics such as sales, gross profit, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Excellent training aids to be a top performer including AI.
- Participate in Leadership Training and Development
Qualifications – Ideal Candidate
- Prior experience as an Automotive Store Manager, Automotive Service Manager, Service Advisor Manager, or Auto Repair Shop Manager.
- Proven leadership and process management skills in the automotive service industry.
- Strong background in customer service, automotive sales, and service writing.
- Ability to build lasting relationships with customers and staff.
- Desire to grow with a locally owned Albuquerque auto repair company that promotes from within.
