Chalmers Ford is actively hiring experienced Automotive Service Advisors / Service Writers to join our growing Service Department in Rio Rancho, NM.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers in the service drive and assess vehicle concerns
- Recommend maintenance and repair services based on customer needs
- Explain repairs, maintenance recommendations, and warranty coverage clearly
- Open, manage, and close repair orders accurately
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely repairs
- Schedule service appointments and manage daily service traffic
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships
- Present and sell recommended services including brakes, tires, alignments, and maintenance packages
- Maintain a professional and organized service department environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of dealership Service Advisor experience REQUIRED
- Previous domestic dealership experience preferred
- Ford dealership experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of automotive systems, maintenance, and warranty processes
- Excellent customer service, communication, and sales skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
