A well-established Japanese import dealership in Nassau County is seeking an experienced Sales Manager or General Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales team. This role requires a driven leader who can manage daily sales operations, mentor staff, and deliver exceptional customer experiences while meeting dealership performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
Desk and structure deals while effectively T.O. (Turn Over) customers to close
opportunities.
Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with manufacturer standards and
dealership objectives.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout every stage of the sales process.
Promote and reinforce the importance of achieving strong CSI (Customer Satisfaction
Index) scores with the sales team.
Foster a positive, high-performance team culture through strong leadership and
mentorship.
Qualifications
Proven automotive sales management experience.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
Demonstrated success in desking deals and managing the full sales process.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Compensation & Benefits
$130,000 – $250,000 per year (salary + commission; based on experience and
performance).
