Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Parts Manager to lead our parts department with enthusiasm and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of automotive parts, ensuring seamless operations that support our service and repair teams. Duties
- Manage the daily operations of the parts department, including inventory control, order processing, and shipping & receiving activities.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to source OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts efficiently while maintaining cost-effective pricing.
- Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules to ensure timely availability of parts.
- Oversee warehouse management tasks such as stocking, organization, forklift operation certification, and warehouse experience to optimize space utilization.
- Collaborate with automotive service teams to understand parts requirements for repairs and diagnostics, including body repair components.
- Implement demand planning strategies to forecast parts needs based on historical data and upcoming service schedules.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards related to equipment repair, shipping & receiving procedures, and warehouse safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting internal departments with sourcing solutions and resolving supply chain issues promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience in supply chain management within an automotive dealership or manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in procurement management, sourcing OEM parts, and inventory control practices.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, auto body repair processes, and automotive service operations.
- Hands-on warehouse management experience including shipping & receiving procedures and forklift operation certification.
- Knowledge of pricing strategies, demand planning techniques, and logistics coordination.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with customer service orientation to build lasting supplier relationships. Strong communication skills

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the auto industry, specifically in parts sales and inventory management
- Proficiency in computer applications, such as CDK and inventory management software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings needed
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
