Assistant Automotive Service Manager
Full-Time | $1,000–$2,500/Week | Weekly Pay + Bonuses | Billings, MT
About the Role
We're a growing auto repair shop under new ownership in Billings, MT — and we're building something worth being part of. We're looking for an experienced Assistant Service Manager who's ready to step into a real leadership role, help shape the culture of a shop on the rise, and be rewarded for it.
This is a hands-on position for someone who knows the service drive inside and out — someone who can write service, close repair orders, keep 3 technicians across 6 bays productive, and leave every customer glad they chose us.

What You'll Do
- Greet customers, answer phones, and manage the service drive from open to close
- Write accurate estimates and present repair recommendations with confidence and transparency
- Close repair orders and follow up to make sure every customer leaves satisfied
- Coordinate workflow between the front desk and 3 technicians to keep all 6 bays turning efficiently
- Build lasting customer relationships that generate repeat business and referrals
- Handle customer concerns quickly, professionally, and with a solutions-first mindset
- Support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team communication, and shop goals
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional front-of-shop experience
You're the Right Fit If You Have:
- 2+ years of experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, or Service Manager in an auto repair or dealership setting
- Strong communication skills — you build trust fast and close with confidence, not pressure
- Solid understanding of common repairs: brakes, alignments, suspension, steering, and general maintenance
- The ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
- A team-first mentality — you lead by example, not by title
- Experience with shop management software (a plus, but we can train the right person)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (a plus — not required)
