Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, ensuring they receive the highest level of service and support. You will utilize your mechanical knowledge and customer service skills to assess customer needs, provide accurate estimates, and facilitate effective communication between customers and service technicians.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming environment.
- Assess customer needs by listening carefully and asking relevant questions regarding vehicle issues.
- Provide accurate service estimates based on vehicle maintenance requirements and repair needs.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of services and repairs.
- Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer’s vehicle performance.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service requests, and follow-up actions.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with dealership standards and safety regulations.
- Stay updated on automotive technology trends and dealership offerings to provide informed recommendations.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
- Familiarity with auto service management systems and auto estimating practices.
- Experience in upselling automotive services or products effectively.
- Knowledge of shocks struts, diesel engine repair, and general mechanic skills is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly to customers.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Previous experience in a dealership setting is a plus but not required.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
