About the the Role:
The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact for customers visiting the service department. This role is responsible for professionally recommending and selling maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle needs while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate builds strong relationships with customers to promote satisfaction, trust, and long-term retention. Success in this position requires excellent communication skills, a strong sales ability, and the capability to provide accurate, timely, and consistent service throughout the repair process.
Must-Have:
- Must be bilingual (fluent in Spanish and English)
- Knowledge of oil changes, suspension, air brakes, alignments, and vehicle parts
- Previous Experience working in a dealership setting is a PLUS(not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with mechanics and automotive sales teams
Responsibilities
- Perform according to weekly/monthly/quarterly shop goals.
- Greet customers, check them in, and assist them with their service needs.
- Provide accurate estimates using TekMetric for repairs and maintenance services.
- Order necessary parts for RO's and keep track of them.
- Schedule service appointments and follow up with customers on the status of their vehicles.
- Present a clean, professional appearance.
- Build long-lasting relationships with customers.
- Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure timely completion of work.
- Educate customers on recommended services based on manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain customer satisfaction by resolving any service-related issues promptly.
- Schedule necessary transportation for customers if needed.
