Sales Advisor – BHPH Experience or Pure Grit (Dallas, TX)

The Auto Cave is one of the top-performing Buy Here Pay Here dealerships in DFW — we sell 70+ vehicles per month all in-house financing (buy here pay here). Approvals happen here. Deals get done. Customers come back and refer their family.
We're hiring 1–2 Sales Advisors at our Dallas location (I-20 & Camp Wisdom). We already have a team. What we need is someone who walks in with a different gear.
Who We're Actually Looking For
We're being direct about this because we're tired of hiring people who interview well and then coast. This role is for one of two types of people:
Type 1 — The BHPH Veteran You've worked at a Buy Here Pay Here store. You understand the customer. You know how to build trust with someone who's been turned down everywhere else. You've worked deals where the down payment, the income, and the right vehicle all have to line up, and you know how to make it happen. You're here because your current store can't get deals approved, doesn't appreciate you, or has hit a ceiling.
Type 2 — The Person Who Grinds You've never sold a car in your life, but you've outworked everyone around you at whatever you've done.. restaurants, retail, construction, military, door-to-door, collections, call centers. You show up early. You stay late. You don't need to be told twice. You're competitive and you hate losing. We'll teach you the car business. We can't teach grit.
If you need to be motivated, micromanaged, or coddled, this is not your store. We're a small team and one slow week from one person is felt by everyone. We protect our culture.
What You'll Do
- Guide customers through our in-house financing approval process
- Set clear expectations early and build real trust
- Help customers pick the right vehicle for their budget — not the most expensive one
- Follow our proven sales system (we'll train you, we expect you to master it)
- Hit your numbers. Every week. Not every other week.
- Deliver service good enough that customers send us their cousin, their coworker, and their pastor
Our mission is simple: Provide reliable transportation with affordable financing and treat people right.
Compensation
This is one of the strongest pay plans in BHPH. Top producers here earn well into six figures.
- Weekly base
- Bonus per car sold
- 3-Car Day "Hat Trick" bonuses
- Store bonuses for top producers
- Record Setter bonus
- 5-day work week, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
If you can sell, you will earn. If you can't yet, we'll coach you. But effort is not optional, it's the price of admission.
What We Expect
- BHPH experience preferred, but grit, urgency, and coachability matter more
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred, a large portion of our customers prefer Spanish
- Professional appearance and communication
- Ability to handle confidential customer information
- Self-driven, you don't wait to be told what to do next
- Team-first attitude, we don't tolerate lone wolves or drama
- Valid driver's license
