Service Manager – Automotive (Full-Time)

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Service Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a busy automotive service department. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the service department to ensure efficiency and profitability
- Lead, train, and develop service advisors, technicians, and support staff
- Monitor repair order flow to ensure timely completion of work
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve escalated concerns
- Ensure service department sales, gross profit, and expense goals are achieved
- Review department performance reports, KPIs, and productivity metrics
- Oversee scheduling and dispatching of work to technicians
- Work closely with the parts department to ensure availability of needed parts
- Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards, dealership policies, and safety regulations
- Ensure warranty claims and documentation are completed accurately
- Hire, coach, and discipline employees as needed
- Develop and implement strategies to increase customer retention and service revenue
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Manager or in a similar leadership role
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience managing teams and driving performance
- Familiarity with dealership operations, KPIs, and service metrics
- Proficiency with dealership management systems, including Reynolds & Reynolds and Xtime
- Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment
