ABOUT THE JOB
- Greet and check in customers, listen to their concerns, and build rapport that earns their trust and keeps them coming back
- Translate technician inspection and diagnostic findings into clear, easy-to-understand estimates and recommendations
- Present and sell recommended services with confidence, helping customers understand the value and importance of the work their vehicle needs
- Source parts, build accurate repair orders, and walk customers through their repair options clearly and professionally
- Manage a fast-paced front desk, keeping the workflow organized and customers informed throughout the repair process
- Treat every customer the way you’d want someone to treat your own family member
- Consistent car count and strong ARO — you’ll have the opportunity to produce and earn
ABOUT YOU
- 2–3 years of experience as an automotive service advisor (minimum 2 years required)
- Independent shop experience preferred. Dealership experience is welcome if you’re motivated to move into a professional independent shop environment where you can build real customer relationships
- Energetic, friendly, and customer-focused – you light up the front counter and make customers feel welcome from the moment they walk in
- Strong communicator and natural salesperson. You’re comfortable explaining recommended services and helping customers make informed decisions
- Proven track record. You can point to real results – whether that’s growing sales, improving customer satisfaction, or earning recognition at a previous shop
- Thrives under pressure. You can handle a busy front desk without losing your cool or your attention to detail
- Verifiable history of being a steady, reliable employee. If you prefer to bounce from job to job every year, this isn’t the fit for you.
