Local Automotive Dealer is searching for a Service Drive Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three to five years, active hands-on, day-to-day service management background with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.The Service Drive Manager is the supervisor for the Service Advisors, Express Advisors, Valets, and Car Wash staff. The Service Drive Manager works under the Service Manager who is their direct reporting supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure customers are being greeted promptly and professionally upon arrival
- Ensure consistent delivery of high customer satisfaction (CSI) scores.
- Resolve customer concerns and escalations quickly and effectively
- Promote a customer‑first culture in the service lane
- Manage service lane workflow to ensure efficient repair order processing
- Monitors write‑up quality, maintenance menus, and upsell opportunities
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer and dealership policies
- Supervise, train, and coach Service Advisors
- Set clear expectations and hold advisors accountable to performance goals
- Ensure accurate repair orders and estimates
- Maintain proper documentation and repair authorization standards
- Enforce safety, warranty, and OEM compliance requirements
- Collaborate with parts and technician teams to eliminate bottlenecks
Reporting & Communication
- Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
- Communicate trends, challenges, and opportunities to leadership
- Recommend process improvements to improve throughput and profitability
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of automotive service advisor or service management experience
- Strong customer service and sales coaching skills
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and hold teams accountable
- Excellent communication and conflict‑resolution skills
- Working knowledge of dealership DMS systems, Reynolds & Reynolds
- Prior service lane or advisory management experience preferred
- OEM training or certifications
- Experience improving CSI and service sales metrics
- Experience in high volume environment preferred but not required

Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
