Auto Boutique is looking for a Lot Porter to join our growing team! Prior experience in detailing, inventory management/automotive industry preferred but not required! Full time 5 days a week 35-40+ hours available for the right person. Strong organizational skills, clean appearance, eager to learn, punctual and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by our dealership hours. Lots of useful information will be learned on the job. Mechanical experience a plus, paint/autobody experience a plus.
Duties:
Various tasks to assist the dealership in organizing and selling vehicles including but not limited to:
- Putting gas into vehicles
- Taking vehicles to car wash
- Organizing cars on the lot
- Helping out with monthly inventory
- Transporting cars to and from offsite locations as necessary
- Vacuuming/ detailing vehicles (when needed)
- Changing batteries, etc (if no prior experience much will be taught!)
- Installing LoJack (if no prior experience much will be taught!)
- Retrieve vehicles on the lot for customers
- Assist sales with overflow of customers on busy days, asst. test drives, gas, wash etc.
- Keep the dealership lot, service areas, and showroom neat by clearing trash, sweeping, and removing snow or debris.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physical tasks like standing, walking, and lifting up to 25+ pounds.
- Must have a valid drivers license with a good driving record.
- ABILITY TO DRIVE 5 SPEED IS A PLUS!!!!!!!
