Position Overview:
As the Parts Manager at Stringer Auto Repair, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our business. You will be responsible for parts ordering, inventory control, customer service, service advising, and maintaining effective communication with technicians and customers. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing excellent service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage parts ordering process, ensuring timely delivery and accurate inventory levels.
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with parts inquiries, orders, and returns.
- Act as a service advisor to customers, providing recommendations and guidance on necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with technicians and customers to ensure accurate and timely completion of repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department, ensuring all parts are properly labeled and stored.
- Demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of the job, from parts ordering to customer interactions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in automotive parts management or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with computer systems and automotive parts software.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Friday schedule.
